In 2002, Gord Pedersen and Dan Gagnon began Auto Gallery of Winnipeg knowing that there had to be a better, more personable way of selling cars.
Both Pedersen and Gagnon began their car sales careers within the confines of a large manufacturer dealership, and quickly found the big dealership atmosphere not to their liking.
"The repeat and referral business has been the cornerstone to what we do." Pedersen says. "Our number one source of advertising is our repeat and referral business. We felt all along if you treat someone the way you want to be treated, they'll come back and bring friends members with them." And that is exactly what happened. Over forty percent of Auto Gallery's business is repeat customers and referrals. "A figure like that is unheard of in this industry," says Pedersen.
"One of the biggest things people tell us is when they walk in here they immediately get the feeling that we really care," Pedersen says. "People come in and say they enjoyed purchasing a vehicle."
Providing quality products and honest sales service to the people of their community is priority to Pedersen and Gagnon. "I love the people here, and I appreciate their loyalty," says Pedersen.
"Dan and I are buying the cars that are here," Pedersen explains. So when we're looking at a car, we're on our hands and knees, checking it out thoroughly because it belongs to us.
